MOTHER

Two objects that belong together, a degradable urn and a cutting vase, the earth's two processes, decomposition and creation of new life. These belong together, just as the living and the dead belong together, regardless of location. The urn is lowered into the ground and dissolved by nature, in the vase a cutting gets new roots. The new life in the vase is reminiscent of the lives that have ended. The cuttings vase is a reflection of the urn, or as a memory, a little blurred, a little exaggerated. They are linked even though they are separated. Even if you can not be at the grave, I want to create an object that connects to the place and the memory of the missing.

FOAM SPA

One of my favourite things I made at Beckmans was a collaboration with Matilda Dahlgren and Vicktor Rassback, an installation with bodies cut out in foam and slippers to go with it.

OYSTER - mirror/lamp

Interest in make-up has grown exponentially in recent years. With social media, there is a whole new scene for expressing oneself and examining one's identity. The technology has not kept up, so in this project I have investigated what happens when the make-up culture meets the LED technology. In my process, I interviewed a makeup artist and a Drag artist about their relationship to makeup and identity. They both experienced that there was a lack of tools with adjustable light that can be adapted to stage light and performance. Based on this, the Oyster mirror was created. A mirror with built-in light that can be adjusted with the mobile, it can be used professionally or to create effective selfies.
