Min systers mjölk

The fountain My Sister's Milk was inaugurated and filled with breast milk from everyone who wished to contribute during the opening of my solo exhibition at WAYgallery on March 5th, 2026.

Parenthood can be a lonely place, even though it is something we share with so many others. Can the fountain become a place where we can share with one another?

Breastfeeding is private, public, everyone has an opinion, it’s no one’s business, everyone is looking, no one dares to look, everyone wants a taste, no one dares to ask.

Milk is nourishment, art is nourishment, I make them one.

When we filled it, our experiences and milk were blended together. Instead of blood brothers, we are milk sisters now.

Some came with bags filled with milk, others sqirted right down in the fontain. Again, thank you so much to everyone who participated!
