DESIGN IKONER

Design Lab S was a collective design studio that worked for everyone’s right to shape our society. I was a part of this thriving and amazing collective for a few years and one of my favourite things we created was the book Design Ikoner.

Image and representation is power. With this book, we highlight who has been part of design history and who we at Design Lab S think should take the power instead. The book is a compilation of a number of workshops where the children were asked to interpret design classics and build them in their own way. With portraits and interviews with each individual, we show that we see, hear and listen to them.
